The native of Coburg initially attended the Technical Art School in Hamburg in the late 1990s, followed by an art degree at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. Since 1998, she has been working as an independent artist in Munich in her studio located in the legendary “Wiede Factory.” Her predominantly large-format paintings, which are part of numerous art collections, have been featured in solo and group exhibitions, including the “Denkraum Deutschland” at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich in 2021 and “Totally Now” at the Orangerie in the English Garden in 2024.
The ARTBUNKER GRÜNWALD warmly invites you to the group exhibition Tiefgang (Depth), a special showcase exploring the depth of artistic expressions. The exhibition brings together five remarkable female artists who explore diverse perspectives and techniques in their works to illuminate personal, societal, and universal themes. Visitors can expect a multifaceted array of art, ranging from painterly compositions and sculptural works to experimental approaches. Each artist contributes her own distinctive style and unique perspective, creating an engaging dialogue between the pieces.
Under the theme “feminine”, Denkraum Deutschland 2021 highlighted the social and political potential of the female in art and society. Works by Joseph Beuys, Gabi Blum, Valeska von Brase, Tomma Galonska, Franziska Greber, Hira Khan, Sudi Khonssari, the artist collective Die Villa, Judith Milberg, Naila Mahmood, Beate Passow, Doro Seror, Mica Wintermayr and others were shown. In addition to the exhibition, there were performances, guided tours, lectures, workshops and discussions, e.g. B. with the Bavarian Minister of Social Affairs Carolina Trautner or the exhibition organizer Miro Crämer.
A brief insight into the new series ‘totally now’, where organic figures can be recognized within abstract, surreal landscapes. They leave room for new thoughts.
